Start a Collection was conceived by David Messum Fine Art, over 20 years ago to provide a platform from which first-time buyers could purchase with confidence.
That defining moment proved to be a building block for many established collections and numerous new friendships.
Messum’s exquisite collection of artworks spans across nearly 100 artists in the fields of Contemporary, Modern British, British Impressionism and Newlyn. The Start a Collection initiative provided a wonderful way to introduce Messum’s array of artists’ works to art lovers, young and old.
David Messum has always been a pioneer in the art world and loves to bring his joy of art to audiences far and wide. David is keen to explore new initiatives and events that make art accessible to all and enable him to share his wealth of knowledge and expertise.
